Take the tunnel bus to the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) and purchase an admission ticket at the same time. The ‘Auto Show Express’ package is $19 per person, in Canadian funds, and includes round trip bus and admission ticket. It’s the convenient, easy way to go!
The
NAIAS public show runs from January 19-27, 2013.
Doors open daily at 9 a.m. and close at 10 p.m., except on the last day
when it closes at 7 p.m. No admittance
to the show one hour prior to closing.
‘Express’ packages may also be
purchased at the five City Customer Care Centres: Adie Knox Herman Recreation
Complex, Forest Glade Community Centre, Gino & Liz Marcus Community Complex,
Optimist Community Centre, and the South Windsor Recreation Complex.
If you wish
to purchase tunnel bus tickets only, the cost is $8 roundtrip or $4 for one-way
travel.
All tickets are sold in Canadian funds.
Transit Windsor accepts US funds at par and all change is given in CDN
funds.
Discounted admission tickets for
seniors (65+) or children (7-12) are only available at Cobo at $6 in
US funds.
Regular Tunnel bus service is
augmented with additional buses to Cobo Center, on demand, during peak travel
times. Fully accessible service is
provided and detailed information is available by calling customer service at
519.944.4111 or 311. Buses leave from
the downtown transit terminal located at 300 Chatham Street West, according to
the current
timetable:
