4th Annual Potato Fest for Cancer Patients Dec. 4, 2014

“One potato, two potato, three potato and MORE tater dishes than ever,” declares Kim Spirou, Director of Development and Community Outreach. There will be mashed, french fried, baked and pureed potatoes being integrated as the signature element of this popular fundraising lunch time event to support cancer patients in our region. In Honour of the Ones We Love has brought back, by very popular demand, the Potato Fest event which will take place on Thursday, December 4th from 11 a.m. to 2 pm at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts on Riverside Drive.

This ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT spud-tacular costs only $10.00 per person and features a wide array of delicious potato dishes including potato martinis, baked potato bar, fresh cut fries, salad bar with cold potato salad with all the toppings and fixing you can imagine plus rolls, butter and beverages.

AM800 will be broadcasting live from this event. As well this year’s Potato Fest will feature media personalities and civic leaders who will help serve patrons and add an element of celebrity to the event. Raffle tickets for the Fiat Coupe 500, autographed by famed actor Al Pacino, will also be available for sale. Tickets are only $20 and the draw for this exciting vehicle takes place at our Gala on February 7th!

Proceeds from the Potato Fest event will benefit Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare. In Honour of the Ones We Love aims to make the Windsor-Essex community self-sufficient so that cancer patients and their families do not have to leave the city to receive treatment and support. Fundraising efforts would not be possible without the support of volunteers, sponsors and those who attend events like this one. Come join the fun and bring your family and friends to support this wonderful cause!

Sponsors include the St. Clair Centre for the Arts, AM800, TVCogeco, Motor City Community Credit Union, and Windsor Disposal Service. For ticket information contact 519.966.2960 or 519-816-2857
