Weather permitting, participants will take a guided walk through the woods looking and listening for owls.
“We’ve been hosting these winter Owl Prowls for many years now, and they have been selling out at our maximum capacity every year,” Biribauer says. “To hear an owl hooting on a still winter’s night is nothing short of magical. Then to be lucky enough to see one, that’s an experience with nature that one doesn’t soon forget.”
The
public can choose between two Owl Prowl evenings:
-Thursday,
February 5, 2015: 7-9 pm at Camp Cedarwin Scout
Camp-Wednesday, February 11, 2015: 7-9 pm at Holiday Beach Conservation Area
The
cost for each event is $5 per person, or $12/family. Space is limited and
pre-registration is required. For the Camp Cedarwin Owl Prowl, please go
