The
program is designed to:
•
build a greater understanding of the creative writing process;
•
act as a safe haven for writers who want to share their work with others, both
in the group and
online; and
•
offer illustrators free reign to create illustrations for storybooks or comics.
The Riverside Writing and
Illustration Club has a blog at rivwritingclub.wordpress.com to keep parents and
friends up-to-date with what is happening and to teach the ins and outs of
blogging. This page will also list dates for meetings in its "About"
section at rivwritingclub.wordpress.com/about.
The club is geeked about the fun they'll be having and hope you are, too! Even if members
can't make every meeting, they're invited to come out and join the group when
they can.
